How we make Shop Sign Lettering

Flat cut letters are produced in materials of varying thickness from 3mm to 24mm mainly in acrylic and aluminium.
To make sure our letters are cut with a clean edge, accurate and match your artwork we use a CNC cutting machine. Your artwork is entered into our computer programme along with the size and font you have requested. The machine is then loaded with an acrylic sheet of the thickness and colour you have chosen and is set to work to create your sign and letters.
Using the CNC machine enables us to cut from any font you have selected or artwork you have sent us. We have access to over 40,000 fonts so should be able to meet your requirements!
Following cutting, the letters and shapes are dusted, any sharp edges or debris is removed and edges are flame polished for a professional finish.
The fixing locators are then glued to the back of the letters, the template is produced and your sign is packed ready for distribution.
Fixing locators and templates are offered free of charge with all flat cut letters from BHMA to help guide accurate and simple installation. For installation instructions take a minute and watch our video guide
